Collaboration with our customers and partners

The business has also developed extensive knowledge and expertise in international reporting and certification standards related to GHG emissions. Recent customer engagements include building a digital platform for a consortium of operators to support a multisensor methane emissions monitoring program and entering into a consulting contract with an IOC to enable them to comply with the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0 framework for methane.

The three pillars above are supported by a robust data and digital offering that enables customers to have one single place for integrating, visualizing, reporting, interpreting, and forecasting their emissions data to make the most effective and efficient decisions regarding emissions management, mitigation, and reduction.

  • Plan: We identify the most effective suite of GHG emissions measurement technologies, including drones, airplanes, satellites, handheld devices, sensors shared by multiple operators, and fixed sensors. The ideal measurement plan varies depending on facility size, type, location, climate, and proximity to other facilities.
  • Measure: Once a plan is developed, we implement it by creating a baseline measurement of emissions across the entire asset. We manage the data from a wide diversity of measurement approaches, ensuring each provides the maximum possible insight and is routed where and to whom it is needed most. Our broad understanding of different measurement and calculation approaches enables us to integrate data from multiple sources, including data reconciliation. Our close relationships with international organizations—including OGMP, MiQ, and Project Canary—ensure that our measurements will meet required global standards.
  • Act: Following measurement, high-emitting sources are identified and emissions from these are reduced by repairing leaks, installing low-emitting equipment, and implementing technology for transforming gas to valuable products.
