Christmas at the Zoo was honored with the Bronze (second runner-up) Moonbeam Award for Best Holiday Book published in 2007. The book depicts eight different animal species preparing for Christmas at the zoo, complete with animal-themed decorations, and culminated with a visit from Santa.
